Ski Resorts Arapahoe Basin |

Highlighted by the incomparable steeps, trees and bumps of Pallavicini, East Wall and North Glades. The terrain and the rich history have earned Arapahoe Basin the title - The Legend. Dundee Resort Development purchased the ski area in 1997. Dundee's commitment to the ski area is represented through the many upgrades put forth since the purchase. These include the addition of snowmaking, a new triple chairlift, a new summit house and a new snow sports base area building. |
Arapahoe Basin continues to grow in 2008 and a $1.2 million parking expansion was added. With 300 new parking spaces served by new shuttle buses and a pedestrian tunnel under US Highway 6, getting to The Legend has never been easier. Visit our website at: |

Located just 68 miles west of Denver, Arapahoe Basin celebrated its 60th anniversary last season. Developed by a group of pioneers shortly after World War II, Arapahoe Basin boasts the highest skiable terrain (13,500') and one of the longest seasons (October - June) in North America. |

Black Mountain Lodge. The new mid-way mountain restaurant, Black Mountain Lodge, is located at 11,000 feet at the top of the Exhibition chairlift. The lodge provides on-mountain amenities to our skiers and riders such as food, drinks, restrooms and retail merchandise. The 250 seat restaurant features gorgeous views of the East Wall and the Continental Divide. A unique on-mountian refuge where guests can enjoy one-of-a-kind views and features an expanded Barb-B-Q’ing deck. |
Montezuma Bowl Expansion. Opened for its inaugural season in January of 2008. Construction of the $3 million project adhered to very strict environmental standards that maintain the natural beauty and integrity of the terrain. Installation of the new fixed-grip quad Zuma Lift delivers skiers and riders to blue, black and double black slopes for a total of 36 additional runs. The skier and rider will discover cornices, chutes, glades and wide-open bowls. The Zuma Lift is 4,100 feet in length and rises 1,100 vertical feet. The expansion increased the ski area’s terrain by 80 percent. |
