Ski Resorts Bear Valley |

In 2005, Dundee entered into a partnership to acquire Bear Valley Mountain Resort, a 1400 acre ski area located on the western slopes of the Sierra Mountain range of Northern California. Once the darlimg of the rich amd famous, Bear Valley's infrastructure and reputation had slipped and Dundee saw an opportunity to turn it around with the infusion of new capital and vision. |

As part of that transaction, Dundee and its partners acquired a significant amount of the undeveloped land in the town of Bear Valley. Plans are being developed for a pedestrian village providing commercial space and about 450 condominium residences. Underpinning the entire development is a new high speed chairlift joining the new village to the ski area. |
|
The partnership immediately made new investments in snowmaking and in a new high speed quad chair to replace the old Hibernation Lift. The long term vision for the ski area will include a additional high speed lifts, a mountain top restaurant and renovation of the main ski lodge building.
